The famous monument to the NY Regiments (63rd, 69th & 88th) of the Irish Brigade. One
of the most popular monuments on the battlefield, the Celtic Cross feautres the Irish Wolfhound on the
base, "Loyal when stroked, Fierce when provoked." Interestingly, the sculptor of the monument, Rudolph
O'Donovan, fought at Gettysburg on the Confederate side.
