The Saint Patrick's Day Parade in New York City was not an event that the division "officially" participated in, however, we did have some members march with another group, namely the New York State Volunteers, Company A (First Regiment, Irish Brigade) Division members marching were Ed Averill; President, Dave Cohill; Treasurer and Jim McGuigan; Rec. Secretary. Many lurid tales of prowling NYC the night before the parade would be better left for the meeting (or at least at the bar afterwards). |
